guest i've been very busy preparing for my big day instead of updating my blog..
yup..no wedding planner..
deep in it..at last alhamdulillah majlis berjalan lancar walaupun mcm2 dugaan ade sblom tu..
just imagine my ex sorg ni tetibe je muncul dlm hidup..
i still remember one of our conversation :
him: salam..bla bla bla..mak ayh ape khabar?
me: (apesal tetibe ko tanye pasal parents aku? previously he's avoiding talking about meeting family and all) ok je..

bla bla bla..

me: dah ade org nk dtg minang sy..
him: owh..sy nk dtg jugak bole?

bla bla bla..
n he even wanted to come to my working place in manjung..tetibe aku jd confius mase tu..n seyesly byk gaduh dgn bakal hubby.. =( n byk calling2 dgn ex..

tibe hari yg dinanti he gave a call..xjadi dtg la..ade bla bla bla..he used to cancel things last minute..dari dulu lg..
n since that i've made up my mind!
i'm getting married to my hubby-to-be! i'm not wrong for choosing him..i'm just confused by my ex's drama..

12feb2011 : i delivered a baby girl!
at kpj ipoh specialist..

Tuhan je yg tau jerih perih aku mase pegnent..n berkije at the same time..
i'm still oncall at 35weeks..

antara small complications yg aku dpt:
-bilateral pedal edema (kaki bengkak)
-haemorhoid (buasir yg saket n bleeding)
-ILI (sampai kna makan tamiflu)
-prem contraction (detected by ctg n kna IM dexa x2 doses)
-AGE yg dasat
-hyperem up to 5 months of POA.. (owh doktor mmg xde mc..2 hari je valid)

paling xleh lupe..saket buasir smpai pgg hubby n nangis..
tgah ward round aku terpakse lari2 g toilet utk muntah..
mcm2 lg..later la update..baby dah nangis nk susu..huhu..

after one month known as dr amirah..

i've learn so many things but yet..i know nothing!
hahaa..byk lg yg perlu aku blaja..

walaupun rase cam dh adapt sket..especially mase oncalls..still
sgt takut bile dgr phone ring..

hrmm..currently the ward is extended till extension 23 with 52 patients..
record wei!
pagi tu aku tanye akak staff nurse..paling ramai brape patient setakat ni..dia jawab 49..bile aku oncall malam tu jadi smpai 52 seyh..waduuhhhh~

EOD nightmare!

i'm sick on oncall! worst day since working!

so-called workaholic..duhh!

D12 as a houseman..

start having oncalls EOD..

start to get all the blames..

start to get scold by MO's..

start to get label as not responsible..

start to skip my lunch and dinner..bfast as well..(mandi ptg pon =p)

start to get depressed..

but..

NO ONE CAN CHANGE..I STUDIED HARD TO GET THE MD!
I'M A DOCTOR TOO!

urghhh..I MISS HUKM!
why do i get such a lousy working place..

being in paeds dept..as my first posting..
i started to miss prof bilkis..dr wong sau wei..

and THE SADDEST DAY IS on MY FIRST DAY OF TAGGING!

I'M NOW OFFICIALLY A MEDICAL DOCTOR!!!

oppss..i wonder why i'm yeayy-ing?
being a doctor is nothing special..
many might says..u'll make money mann..and with the title u got..

ya allah..
jadi doktor bukanlah senang..sejak jadi student ni lagi..kitorg tak senang bernapas..
takde sape yg faham kecuali amik sendiri degree ni..
and fyi..ukm is one of the medical school with the highest failure rates!
well..thats true when u look at our lecturers~
they are superb!
dari yg sgt baek pijak semut tak mati smpailah yg sgt tegas bile dia masuk ward,terus sunyi sepi..mcm2 gelagat..

even our staff nurses..they dont pampered us medical student..for them,we're just like Meconium Stained rather than Medical Student..yeah..they often call us MS..
when we get to attached to hospital teluk intan etc..
omg..the nurses are damn nice!

yesterday..is the day..after 4days post exam..
the results are out..name by name were announced by the dean himself..
our beloved prof dato dr lokman bin saim..
the name that wasnt mention..
sorry to say..
have to stay for another 6 months..
and exam again..

and the first name begin..
according to our matric number..
mine is 123..hee~
the first is 115..
plus some seniors..

and there he goes..prof lokman mentioned my name!!!
ya allah! mase tu allah je yg tau..
kitorg dah berpelukan2 di belakang audi..
takut nak duduk..
aku dah siap tarik2 tudung nisa..
sorry la nisa ye..
dah la ade sorg junior cina laki mane dtg ntah..
sesaje nak tgk kami..
aih..

the thing is that..i cant help with my HABIT..
i played with my pen..during presentation..

and prof fadzilah tegur me..
dont play with the pen..

and go on with my presentation and questions from prof rohaizak, prof bil and prof fadzilah..i can answer most of it..except for..

-hepatorenal syndrome..
-advice after removal of gallbladder..i did answer some..
-the other F for risk factor of gallstone..but get it at last..
-how does the LFT report comes out regarding bilirubin..
-cant remember others..

prof fadzilah look below the table..and i quickly put the pen on the table..huhu..

questions2..

the queastions are quit ok..

and they wish me gudluck..passing me to the next team of examiners..
prof adeeb greet me..and asked my matric number..

besides prof adeeb, theres prof ong, prof sharir, one indian external and cant remember another examiner..i was busy looking and focusing at the next case..

the first case was with prof emeritus nafisah adeeb..shes my examiner in obstetric in last ong end-posting examination..shes one of my idol.. =)
shes 60- sumthing and still have good memories..
and i still remember one class my group had with her in the final year..
she asked us to cover 2 wards (theres 4 of us) in 2 hours time..
and most of my friends are scared of her..huhu..
she did scold us..smpai satu ward senyap sebentar..but then thats the beauty of learning..i really admired her style..shes very kind to patient and very professional..
ok..my case was a lobulated and firm uterine mass..my diagnosis was uterine fibroid then..managed to answer questions till management..
its 10 minutes..and SUPER FAST!

my second case was with prof ong..yeah..shes my examiner during peadiatric end-posting examination in final year..shes a calm woman i'd say..
my patient is an 8-y/o malay boy and his mother complaint that he was unable to walk and had a developmental delay..
plz examine the neurological examination of the lower limb..
one important thing i forgot was muscle wasting!
and prof ong asked me to inspect again..
prof adeeb was like helping me.'cant u see that..yeah that'
ok..i answered theres bilateral gastrocnemius muscle wasting..
prof ong said 'good'..i'm comfortable to hear that..hoho..
and another thing is that..i had a memory block! haha~
suddenly forgot how to demonstrate clonus..yaikss!
i did funny thing and prof ong asked me..what are u doing?
clonus?show it again to me..
fuhh..relieved! i regain my memory at that point of time!
with the plantar reflex..its down going but still the big toes was upgoing..ngaa~
prof ong asked me..
apart from small toes..where else u look for in babinski test?
erks..i answered 'big toe' as soft as i can..for not being confident..muahahah!
but the answer was correct and prof ong seems to look like '..yeahh..thats ok'
and what do u think is the most likely diagnosis?
oh..spastic cerebral palsy..
prof ong wants a 'spastic paraplegic cerebral palsy' but i cant remember that group of classification! hahaha~

my third case was with prof sharir,our beloved lecturer..
i did a cardiovascular examination and found AF and pansystolic murmur..hurmm.
i guess the jvp was raised..but i didnt focus on it..scared of the running time..
duhh..and prof questioned me..u sure the jvp was not raise?
ngaa~ why do u think its not a jvp?
i remember 2 out of 5 only~

and he asked me what is the commonest cause of MR in this pt?
so i answered 'ccf'
more common one?
'rheumatic heart disease'

the alarm rings!

uhhh~
thats the end of my final clinical examination..

and on the same day..its our final dinner farewell dinner @ mines spa and resort..
i drove there..was actually following k and h..but yeah..u know me..
i reached there earlier..
nice place..
hang li po ballroom~
dalam dia tak cantik sgt..seriously..even the TTDI dewan is better..haha..
i prefer dewan endon at putrajaya or dewan merak kayangan..
thats where i attended most of the weddings of my relatives/parents' friends' children..

one thing i HATE about our dinner last night was..
the BUFFET style..yup! i HATE buffet!
coz i hate lining up like school kids just to get the food..damn annoying!
and i wont do that kind of buffet on my wedding..
it shud be like..
2-3 stations to line if u want to do so..
or maybe 4..
hate that! tak suke rebut2 makanan dgn org..and get the last piece..duhh!

one-day-pre-clinical-exam..

tomorrow..20th of march 2009..is the BIG DAY!

bukan mau kawen..jauh skali mau honeymoon..
but..tomorrow is one of my important day..very important i'd say..

tomorrow is my CLINICAL EXAM DAY!
its 2 hours..
one long case and 3 short cases..
with..

5 examiners!
all looking at me..asking questions..

i'm looking forward for tomorrow as i'm one of the 10 student who will be examined tomorrow..i mean..the LAST 10..

hahaa..org lain sume dh exam all this week..name aku lak jadi on the last day..
betape terseksanye menunggu..
walaupon lebih mase utk study..
